I’m not a big January hater but I’m sure glad it’s the end of the month, for multiple work and life reasons including deadlines, taxes and big, scary moves. I’ve been on deadline finishing the final revisions of my new book, and finishing up the podcast series on hag horror I’ve been putting out, so I feel like I’ve watched and read mostly for work reasons.

This Friday, I’ll be talking at the wonderful One Track Minds event series in London’s alongside composer Matthew Herbert, astronaut Meganne Christian, director Alicia MacDonald and actor Tom Edden.

Regardless, on the last Wednesday of the month I’ll be sending out a breakdown of books, articles, podcasts, films, series, and other assorted links that I’ve been enjoying for paid subscribers of Admit One (that’s you! hello, you! thank you so much!). I’m lucky enough that reading/watching/listening is a bit part of my work, so consider this a curated list of recommendations from across the pop culture multiverse.
